You MUST agree to the following before you sign up.
Blackball rules.
Commit to 1 match per month in 2026 starting in February. (occasionally 2 if required).
You and your opponent must agree a date, time, and venue within that month.
Matches are first to 5 frames (best of 9).
Send us BOTH players scores after the match, so we can record the frames won.
The winner of a match gets 3 Points.
The player with the most Points at the end of the year wins their division.
In the event of tied points, the Frames won will be used.
You will be placed in a division based on skill and past experience.
You agree that your name and phone number will be shared within the group to arrange matches.
You must send match scores to us each month.
Joining the WhatsApp Singles League group is advised for the latest news and information.
If both points and frames are tied at the end, we will discuss with the players involved how to resolve it.
Who pays for the table must be agreed before the match (e.g. split the cost, loser pays, or winner pays).
If a match is not completed by the end of the month, and there is evidence that one player made reasonable attempts to arrange it, the player at fault COULD be removed from the league with no refund (if no subtitle reason is provided).
Prize money for each division will be paid directly into the recipients chosen bank accounts once the league has concluded and the final standings are confirmed. Most likely in Jan 2027.
The amount that can be won will be determined by the number of participants in each division.
If you win a prize, you must agree to appear in a photo for publicity use.
£25 Entry fee is non-refundable once the draw has been made on the 1st of Feb. You can cancel your place and request a refund before that date, or if for anyone reason we do not get the numbers for the league to go-ahead refunds will be given.
